Homework for 4.4.11 on Tech Standards

I think the standards have not changed all that much with the exception of a few things. First what it seems like to me is that the standards for students have become more detailed. The language has stayed mostly the same, but it has gone into more depth into what is required of students. In contrast, teacher standards are not as detailed. And while the language is similar, it seems like there is less description and the requirements are put into general terms. Finally, the only new concept that stood out to me was the inclusion of digital citizenship. This was not included in the teacher '00 standards or '98 student standards. And now is a part of the '07 and '08 standards. This concept does not seem to be right, but is on the right track. I think they mean issues that deal with privacy rather than citizenship, so in the future I believe that will be the direction they go in.
