I think Mr. Wooden has an excellent philosophy on life. He uses this philosophy and applies it to his teaching and coaching. This philosophy I have always tried to apply to my life myself. Too often as a society we look at results rather than the process of getting to the results. And as long as the journey to the result was a worthwhile one in which I tried as hard as I could then I believe you are successful. There is more too be gained from learning from the process or journey rather than focusing on the result. One more thing that stood out to me was how he thought that you win sometimes when you lose.
